Project Description:
Ripple Beneath explores the blurred boundaries between dreams and reality through abstract storytelling and fluid transitions. Using recurring elements of water, moonlight, and flowers, the animation creates a dreamlike atmosphere where beauty, uncertainty, and discomfort coexist.

The Story.....
Ripples spread across the surface of the sea; the moon appears and disappears in the water. I look up and see the moon hanging in the sky.
Does the moon lie?
Through my eyes, I see the moon. Slowly, it begins to melt, turning into tears that fall from my eyes.
The tears fall to the ground.
It begins to rain.
A dark figure appears. Is that... ME?
Suddenly, the ground turns into the sea, and the shadow (me?) falls into the water. As the figure sinks deeper, the splashes slowly disappear. I begin to fade away with it.
NO.
I struggle, reaching out my hand with all my strength.
I'm back on the surface of the sea. Everything is calm. The moon is still hanging high in the sky.
Was that just a dream?
A blue butterfly flies toward me. Instinctively, I reach out my hand. The butterfly lands gently on it.
With a flash of blue light, I follow the butterfly into a field of flowers. Colorful flowers surround me. In the distance, there is a blue crescent moon, resting on the ground, or perhaps on the surface of the sea.
Suddenly, the dark figure appears again, dragging me into the darkness.
I open my eyes.
I'm back in my room. This time, the moon is outside the window, casting only a faint light onto the wall.
I see the dark figure (me?) sitting on the bed, holding a hand against its head. Slowly, little by little, it falls, collapsing into the moonlight.
A sea of colorful flowers begins to spread around me, from the bed all the way to the floor.
Are those flowers?
Or... blood?
It's raining again.
I'm back on the surface of the sea. This time, there is no moon in the sky.
Countless petals fall from above.
Are they flowers?
Is it rain?
Is it blood?
In the middle of the sea, a single red petal begins to burn.
The flames dance fiercely.
The petal has not disappeared. It has not withered.
My vision slowly blurs until everything fades into darkness.
Into silence……….
