Hi! I’m Emily ^-^

I’m Emily (Yixuan) Li, a New York-based designer and illustrator working in graphic design, illustration, and motion. I enjoy telling stories through my work, and many of my ideas come from everyday life. In my personal work, I like using bright colors and textures to make simple moments feel more alive.

I usually start with a concept and then figure out the best way to express it visually. At the same time, I like having space to explore and try things without knowing exactly where they will lead. I think some of the most interesting ideas come from that process.

YXL Studio

YXL Studio comes from my name, Yixuan Li.
My first name, Yi Xuan, is made up of two Chinese characters, and Li is my last name. The initials YXL follow the English name order.

It is a place for me to bring my work together and keep exploring new ideas.
